In his couture series, Peter Hoffer explores the theater of fashion through a reinterpreted runway. In this mixed media painting, a realistically rendered model for the French fashion house Dior is juxtaposed with suggestive collage. The work is encased in a plexiglass box.

Peter Hoffer (b. 1965, Brantford, ON) holds an MFA. from Concordia University and degrees from the University of Guelph and OCAD University. He has lived and worked in Toronto, New York City, Paris, Montreal and Berlin.
